Joanne "Jo" and Thatcher “Tad” Duni founded Life Design Systems, Inc. in 1984, a community-based wellness clinic aimed at helping people recover from moderate to severe physical illness and injury. Jo and Tad changed the name to LifeDesigns ReAbility Center in 2011. In 2020, they created a licensing program to allow expansion throughout the United States. Their mission is to fill in the huge gap people with moderate to severe physical disabilities experience every minute in America after their insurance-based physical therapies are cut short or discontinued. What was next for them was continued frustration and disappointment.
Without our ReAbility Solutions, this typical client's future (after suffereing a moderate to severe illness, trauma or disease) will likely be void of any meaningful regular exercise, recreation or travel for the rest of their lives! Millions of Americans with moderate to severe physical disabilities need more regular exercise then most. We (the able-bodied) all need regular exercise but most of us do not! But we can still go for a stroll outside, occasionally ride a bike or join a health club. For 40 million Americans (growing by 1000's everyday), those choices are not practical. They need a solution, a ReAbility Solution!
At our core, we are community-oriented. We have served over 25,000 people living with physical disabilities. Not only do we provide innovative physical rehabilitation services, we also educate our clients on methods and strategies to maintain their new found health and physical independence. This improved health and independence is critical for them to abate expensive in-home caregivers and to remain in their home and community. Our services include recovery protocols for:
We will retain the professional services of Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey, LLP as legal advisors & Rich Greenberg & Hassan CPA's PC as finacial advisors
